We bill be having a fabulous estate sale in a historic Denver mansion on September 10 and 11. The house is over 5,000 sq. ft. and sits on 1/2 city block! This is a wonderful collection of antiques and fine art. This sale will feature many items from the estate of pioneer Denver businessman C. F. Hoeckel. There is a fabulous assortment of oil paintings by Denver artists dating back to the early 1900's. Included is a huge selection of contemporary oils and water colors by Denver artists; some listed. There is a wonderful 2' high Mexican Santos with glass eyes circa 1700 as well as a pair of carved Austrian angels circa 1860. There is a fabulous sterling silver nef from Germany. There is elegant, heavily carved, and inlaid furniture, a wonderful oak cellerette, contemporary bedroom and dining room furniture, 1950's chrome kitchen table, a large, framed, W. H. Jackson photograph, vintage mission style lighting, elegant sterling silver and silver plate, antique clocks including an Ansonia marble with open escapement, a Junghans swinging arm clock, Atmos, and a nice French clock.
