CALIFORNIA MONTEREY ARM CHAIR, EARLY

I am so happy to have this lovely, Monterey chair to offer for sale on our website! It has the rope "springs", covered with a leather cushion. It has the hand wrought iron stretchers between the legs, and iron sloping under the arms. The back stretchers are notched into the wood, and the wood texture from which it was created shows the grain. Big round bolts on the legs and arms. It is just about perfect, for its age, which is early 1930's. Maybe -- it would finish off that original Monterey living room scene, or office?

This chair started out its life finished differently, it was abused and beaten up by the weather and so, when found, it needed TLC. The person who found it knows Monterey Furniture and the chair has been reinished in Old Wood. No should be unhappy about this turn of events, but I am calling to your attention.

Dimensions: 31" tall x 25 1/2 wide x 21" deep.
