If you could see the wood before Tom starts making it look nice, you would wonder how it could turn out looking so smooth and tan! But, he washes, peels, sands, smooths, colors with a stain, and puts hand rubbed lacquer on. Then he drills a long hole up through the middle of the log and puts the wiring through.

The base is constructed of heavy pine, surround with 1/2 rounds, that are darker than the base top. Some bases have been chip carved. This one in the picture is smooth.

The electric light bulb fixture is a 3 way style.

The shade is from the famous Taos Drum Company, in Taos, New Mexico. The one in the picture is not included in this as it has been sold!

The floor lamp is then finished off with a cute gnarl made into a lamp finule to keep the shade on -! Order one or two today. They are exceptional and no one else you know will have one!
