The wood used is pine, and each dowel around the seat area was hand cut and placed individually. The finish is a golden color with a hand rubbed lacquer finish. Wonderful large brass tacks were all hand polished and set off this chair in a gorgeous way!
These chairs will be at the head and foot of our hand carved trestle table, which is a one of a kind table that we designed. You can see it on the Burled Log Page in our web site.
