The love seats are constructed of Colorado lodge pole pine logs, completely debarked by hand and each joint fitted by lathe work. The backs and seats are solid pine, with no upholstery. They were made to be utilitarian and comfortable, and the more dings they get, the more rustic they will look! That's the idea! RUSTIC!
The large pine coffee table was constructed with a square hole in the middle to hold a clear plexiglass box with a lid on it. The lid is held on by a clear piano hinge, and a clear hasp to lock it. It will hold varying displays during the shows. Very interesting and unusual idea. We did not photograph the box in the coffee table, though, as it was still covered with protective paper and we were shipping it, and so left the paper on. Hopefully, we will get a picture of the coffee table in use. But you can get the idea of the way it is constructed. It is just like the "Doctor's Waiting Room" furniture in other pictures on our web site.
