It is covered in naugahyde, and has a bucking bronco motif. The chair fits a child up until about 6 or so years of age. The construction is wood -- no plastic in this well made rocker!

Just a great Happy Grandmother gift item! I know, I've given each of my grandkids their own little rocking chairs, and they covet them to this day, even though they have now been relegated to corner decor. They are just waiting for the great grandkids to start arriving!
