"Landing Force Manuel," Published by the United States Air Force, Government Printing Office, 1941. This is a series of paperback manuels bound with screws to hard, tan front and back covers. Individual pamphlets are staplebound together. Front and back hard covers are soiled and worn. Sections within the larger unit are in various conditions. Some are clean, and bright. There are two chapter tens, one is well-worn and soiled, the other is in good condition with three pages that are faded or aged. The inside front cover of the manuel is stamped, and has the handwritten name and address of James W. Burroughs. Inside back cover is stamped, "Manufactued by The Federbush Co., Inc." (with address.) The manuel is illustrated in black and white with graphs, photographs and drawings. Throughout the manuel there is occasional soiling, creased sheets, or sections where the paper has aged. Actual size of book: 6 by 9 1/2 inches. The manuel includes sections on Individual instruction with and without arms, Cart Drill, Formations, Display of Equipment and Clothing, etc. Military History.
