Signed autograph letter by J. Frank Dobie to Louis A. Cherbeneau in regards to the writing of a book on Western saddles with the recommendation by Dobie to contact Norman, Oklahoma historian Ellsworth Collins, author of a book on the 101 Ranch. Dated May 25, 1945. Letter measures 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 and is in VG condition. Ex-Collection Lou Cherbeneau Estes Park, Colorado Saddlemaker.
