Mr. Webster's Second Speech on The Sub-Treasury Bill, Delivered March 12, 1838 to Congress. Written by Revolutionary War figure Daniel Webster. 31 page booklet. 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Good only. Covers with edgewear, spotting and top right front cover has a small torn segment. Light staining throughout, no markings inside. The booklet as a whole is moderately wrinkled. Fully intact. Contains Daniel Webster's plea to the President and Congress in regards to the Federal Banking system, credit, exports and the un-contitutionality of the Sub-treasury Bill as a whole. One of the great debates of the day. Scarce Americana pamphlet.
