Exceptional French Trench Art "Souvenir 1914-1918" German shell marked St 138 Polte Magdeburg Oct 1915 Sp 252. Solid brass. Nine inches high by three inches in diameter. Exceptional relief work and decorative tulip design. Fine Engraving to heraldic crest. No dents or repairs. Original as-found patina. A nice example of Trench art from WWI Europe; and a nice addition to any collection.
