Top and bottom of spine chipped, 1/4 inch. Gold gilt lettering on maroon paste down on spine. Binding tight. Slight foxing, some aging and finger soiling on endpapers. Back endpapers with some moisture damage. Text block pages in good condition with some aging. Actual size: 6 by 8 3/4 inches. 426 pages plus index. This is a collection of the constitution and laws of the Cherokee nation published after an act by the National Council. Two thousand copies were published in English. One thousand five hundred copies were published in the Cherokee language. The constitution provides for the union between the Eastern and Western Cherokee Nations into one Nation. Rare. Law. History.
