Original pen and ink drawing, "Mountain Stream" by Harry Gottlieb. Signed and titled by Gottlieb in original mat. Inscribed, "To my friend and Fellow Artist Dennis Lukas" on verso of mat. Original gallery tag Dated 1920 with original price of $75.00. All original. Drawing measures 8 by 6 1/2 inches and is affixed to underlying mat board. Framed dimensions are: 11 1/2 by 14 1/2 inches. An early example of Gottlieb's modernist work displaying the influence of the transcendentalist landscape genre of the 1920's.
