Previous owners ink-inscribed signature on second front endpage. Text block separating between ffep and frontis page; cords still holding. Some wear at top an bottom of spine and bumping to corners. Front and rear outer gutters spliting; Endpapers intact. Overall book is still sound. Small stain spots on back of front free eps, no aging or foxing of contents of text block. 315 pages. A scarce history about the 117th Regiment of the New York Volunteers (Fourth Oneida), from the date of its organization, August 1862 till that of its muster out, June, 1865. Written by J.A.
