Original green ribbed cloth binding, with decorative blind-embossed eagle design and bright gold gilt title to spine. Binding clean and bright. Tail of spine bumped. Corners lightly rubbed but still firm and square. Endpapers only are moderately foxed. Former owner's private library 1 3/4 by 2 1/2 inch bookplate on front pastedown. Interior Contents are in Very Good + condition. Several 1/4 inch tears near stubs to inner margins. There is a single 3 inch split to top fold of the map of Wisconsin. The rest of the maps are in near unopened VG condition with virtually no acidification or damage to the other 11 large fold-out maps. Maps include: 1. "Map of a Part of Washington Territory, East of Cascade Mtns"; 2. "A Diagram Of Public Surveys In Oregon" (territory) ; 3. "A Map Of Public Surveys In California"; 4.
