This tumbling block design silk crazy quilt is one of the most graphic we have ever encountered. It is also in mint condition. It had been in a trunk for many years and shows no signs of use or wear whatever. The use of the black rhombs enhances the dimensionality of the design, and they have not deteriorated at all. The embroidered enhancements are also intact. The piece measures 78" x 66" and is in a horizontal "landscape" format, which likely indicates that it was made as a presentation piece rather than a functional one.
