1890'S BROKEN STAR/TUMB BLOCKS CUTTER? QUILT
(Item: QUILT STAR CUTTER)
with great intentions of either restoration or using the good early fabrics for worthy projects.
Recent eye surgery/problems has allowed us to "free-up" these quilts and our intent is to get them into the right hands (and eyes). Please understand that they are indeed projects and/or labors of love and we are certainly not calling them great quilts, however, they are a wealth of fine and interesting fabrics, forms and stories.
THIS AUCTION:
All of the little whitish
spots in the pictures are tiny shreds, with white backing showing.
Presents well on a wall because of the tumbling blocks and the stars, and
is loaded with wonderful print fabrics of pale blue, greens, browns, grays
and reds. And, a super back fabric of tiny flower baskets, which
is in very fine condition.
Wool's and crepes.
82 inches x 75 inches.
