EARLY PENNSYLVANIA QUILT ~11+ stitches/inch~
(Item: EARLY PA QUILT)

Early ~1840s - 1850s~ appliqué and pieced quilt from Pennsylvania.
This is an absolutely lovely old quilt!
Extra large at 104 inches by 100 inches.
Very thin, with cottonseeds in the batting.
Don't believe it has ever been washed
...there are quilting marks in some places.
Lovely, fine and intricate quilting at 11-12 stitches per inch
and some is double stitched.
 It does have some problems.
The red appliquéd petals have popped & some are missing.  Also, there are four brown triangles and five red ones that need to be replaced.  It has minor/normal staining and spots from age, but does not have odor.
Quilt is sold with satisfaction guaranteed.
It is a quilt that certainly warrants restoration and it absolutely has everything going for it...large size, soft colors, beautiful & unusual design.
  For the advanced collector.

Will pack properly and ship promptly.
