SUPER 1908 5 PC. CLOCK WORK SCHOENNER TRAIN The "engine" works fine, forward and reverse. There are two levers in the cab, one for front and back and the other is start and stop (which is not currently working), but has in the past (so, probably a lube problem). It does fire right up moving forward and backward. A key, not original is included. Currently sits on 3 pieces of old proper size track, but is unknown if it is original to the train. We also have a box of track put up, perhaps 20 pieces, which we have yet to locate. It will be sent to winner when and if it is found. The engine is 11 inches long and is substantial at almost 4 pounds. The tender is 6 inches long; flat car is 7 inches long ; baggage car about 6 1/2 inches long; and the hinged lidded passenger car is 9 inches long. Believe all pieces have always been together, but not positive. Paint is Good to Very Good on the 4 "cars" while the paint on the engine is not as good; please see pictures. There is no hard rust; a little surface rust inside the tender is about it. Only visible mark is the Roman Numeral "II" on the passenger car. The track also has "II". An excellent opportunity to own a very nice investment quality early 20th century German clockwor keywind pressed steel toy train. Will pack properly and ship promptly. UPS INSURED DOMESTIC GROUND SHIPPING $15. Will ship non-domestic,...but PLEASE inquire prior to bidding... ~OFFERED WITH NO RESERVE~ CLICK "HERE" FOR A
