Fine 1872 Austrian Sterling Kettle With Stand

sterling silver kettle....tea pot or coffee pot...., on stand, with a burner.
Uncovered in an estate in Boulder, Colorado, it has never before been on the market.
Beautiful Nouveau scroll work and exceptional detail decorate both the pot, the handle and the stand.
The handle for the kettle, the finial for the lid and the handle for the burner
are warm early ivory, with a beautiful patina.
The lid has an unusual and delicate dovetail construction attaching it to the pot.
...The condition is excellent...
The hinges for the swing handle were loose when we found the set
and we had them professionally and appropriately repaired.
Close inspection does not reveal restoration.
The tiny lid for the burner is nicely made, but appears to be an old replacement.
The legs to the stand are finely constructed, also, and are hollow.
The pot is monogramed....S with crossed T's....on both sides of the pot and on the burner.
The pot, stand, handle and burner are all hall marked.
The mark we identified is a tiny clover shape with the head image of a Roman? (looking right) with wreath around top of head. According to Seymour-Wyler's "BOOK OF OLD SILVER",
p. 393, this is an 1872 Vienna, Austria mark.
There are also the initials "DC" and two separate "A" "A" marks.
While in the stand, it is about 17 3/4 inches tall (with the handle up) and 10 1/2 inches at the widest point.
The pot is tight and does not leak.
It appears that there have been not other repairs, other than noted above.
