This fine 1937 signed lithograph is described in Fath's book as follows:...in Benton's own words..."Ozark Hill scene, made from a drawing. The house is abandoned but the well is still usable. Many such Ozark farms have been abandoned and the land turned into pasture. In some areas the forest is returning." Signed in pencil, lower right and in the lithograph, lower left. Very clean. Newly framed and under glass. Large frame is 29 x 25. Also offering today Benton's "Edge of Town" in a separate listing.
