1930s AMISH BROKEN STAR QUILT ~QUILTED 1989

Offering today for a local estate this outstanding Ohio Amish BROKEN STAR quilt. The Striking Yellow and White Quilt top was found at an Ohio Amish farm sale in the 1960s and looks to have been pieced in the 1930s. The owner had the top hand quilted by an Amish lady in Ohio in the late 1980s. So, the vintage is 1930s and 1980s and has never been used and is in Pristine Condition; there are noproblems to report. Makes an excellent square....88 inches x 88 inches....wall presentation or is certainly usable as a bed cover. The quilting was all done by hand and is eight stitches to the inch. The batting is thin polyester. Please have a look at the pictures, this Amish Broken Star is sure to please.
