FINE 63 BLOCK 1890s FANCY REDWORK SUMMER SPRE

Extra special group of Redwork today from a local estate. This auction is a Very Nice Folky & Fancy 1880s to 1890s Summer Spread, Red & White, 87 by 74 inches with 63 unique blocks, with "x" stitching between the blocks. A wonderful and graphic display for bed or wall, but difficult to photograph with digital camera (the Spread is far better than the pictures lend and sorry for the bluish tint on some of the images). Tried to give a sampling of the different traditional themes on the spread; kids, dogs, owls, bonnet ladies, gents, horses, flowers, etc., etc, etc. The 63 blocks are each 10 inch by 9 inch. Has been kept folded and wrapped in tissue paper and put up for many, many years, so condition is Very Good and can find no condition problems to report other than a very few tiny dirt spots (probably has never been cleaned).
