This 1/2 Gallon Union Stoneware Mason Fruit jar with a zinc screw cap came from the home of a long time collector of quality antiques. Impressed on the base of the jar is 'Pat. Jan. 24, 1899.' The black print on the front reads 'STONE MASON FRUIT JAR UNION STONEWARE CO. RED WING, MINN.' This jar and cap are in Excellent Condition with no chips cracks or crazing inside and out. This 1/2 gallon jar measures 5 7/8 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall.
This jar is as good as they get!
