1/2 Gal STONE MASON FRUIT JAR UNION STONEWARE RED WING

This 1/2 Gallon Union Stoneware Mason Fruit jar with a zinc screw cap came from the home of a long time collector of quality antiques. The cobalt blue print on the front reads 'STONE MASON FRUIT JAR UNION STONEWARE CO. RED WING, MINN.' This jar and 'Ball' cap are in Very Good Condition. The thread on the jar is misshapen a little under the glaze, as pictured; this looks like it happened in the making and has no effect on the functionality of the lid.
There is also a minor chip on the bottom edge of the jar, as pictured. 
This 1/2 gallon jar measures 5 7/8 inches in diameter and 7 7/8 inches tall.
