1 QUART STONE MASON FRUIT JAR UNION STONEWARE RED WING

This 1 Quart Union Stoneware Mason Fruit jar with a zinc screw cap came from the home of a long time collector of quality antiques. Impressed on the base of the jar is 'Pat...1899.' The black print on the front reads 'STONE MASON FRUIT JAR UNION STONEWARE CO. RED WING, MINN.' This jar and the 'Ball' cap are in Very Good Condition. There are two minor firing pops on the back side of this jar and two minor flakes on the bottom rim, as pictured. There is also a small 'groove' imprinted in the bottom, as pictured, presumably from the factory.
This 1 quart jar measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 6 3/8 inches tall.
