collection of American Indian baskets.
The group consists of fifteen (15) baskets and comes from the estate of a long time collector.
We do our best to describe items as we see them,
and there are also some notes in some of the baskets that help us to describe them.

An investment quality, Tlingit Rattle Top Basket, still has its rattle. It is old and perfect. We guarantee its authenticity and your satisfaction! This basket cane into the collection when it was purchased from a 99 year old lady who bought it on a trip to the West Coast when she was a young lady. Notice the wonderful Tlingit design and fine weave with vibrant orange, yellow and brown colors. The lid fits perfectly onto the basket, and makes an excellent rattle noise when shaken. It measures just 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches tall. If you have been looking for the perfect rattle top, here it is!
