OLD FOLKY PAINTED WOODDUCK DECOY

This is a charming, old folky woodduck decoy with tack eyes. This old duck was a working decoy, as the shot along its left side shows. It looks like original paint, but it's hard to tell. It comes with the old square nail that was used for its weight. The body is a rough texture, while the head is well finished and smooth. Painted on the bottom are the initials 'CW,' probably from the hunter who owned it.  There is a big chip out of the bottom, as pictured. This does not affect the integrity or charm of this bird. This folky bird fits in well with any collection.
It measures 15 3/4 from bill to tail and 5 1/2 inches tall.
