OLD FOLKY CAROLINA RUDDY DUCK DECOY ~RUDDYDUCK

Here is one fine, old, solid body ruddy
duck decoy,
unmarked, from North Carolina. The wood is very light, the paint is
original, the hardware is gone, except for one square nail in it's
chest. This was a working duck, so there are some dings and paint
scuffs throughout, though overall it is in Very Good Condition.
As the pictures show, the head is cut square at the neck 3 inches by 2
inches, mortised into into the
body, and fastened with two square nails.
This really is a charming little ruddy duck, just waiting to join your collection.
It measures 10 3/4 inches from bill to tail and 5 1/8 inches tall.
