PA. MENNONITE RAISED-WORK CARRIAGE THROW ~LAP ROBE This is a bright and wonderful carriage
throw, C. 1920, fresh to the market and originally owned by a
Pennsylvania Mennonite family. To the grandmother it was a carriage
throw, they used it as a table runner and more recently it has
decorated the wall of our cabin. The wool backing is burgundy on the
backside and black on the front, embroidered with 28 tufted-flowerheads
in brightly colored wool yarns. Each flowerhead is created by pulling
the yarn through, then shearing it off to give a puffy look . The throw
is in Very Good Condition with a few small moth holes, mostly on the
backside. Overall, the colors are vibrant and this piece has been kept
clean and well cared for throughout it's life. The throw measures 51
inches by 30 1/2 inches. Please check our Excellent Ebay feedback and bid with confidence We will pack properly and ship promptly UPS domestic insured ground shipping $10 CLICK "HERE" FOR A
