1930s EMBROIDERED FLOWERS QUILT W GREAT BORDER

From the local estate of a Great
Granny, we are pleased to offer today in separate auctions, three (3)
beautiful quilts. Each quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted by Grandma
Mae Best to her grand daughter, Eva, all made around the 1930s and
1940s,
so check them out!
~ FLORAL EMBROIDERY ~
A gorgeous cotton, Pastel colored, Embroidered, Floral quilt with a really nice 'zig-zag' and double border. Just in time for easter, quilted with vibrant pastel pinks, purples, yellows, blues and greens. Each block has a different types of flower, including tulips, pansies, poppies, roses and more. Approximately 6-7 stitches per inch. Grandma Mae made this for her grand daughter Eva around 1935, and carefully hand embroidered the stems and leaves of the flowers. There are no holes, tears, rips or mends, and it is in Excellent Condition. This quilt was hardly ever used and is a knockout on the wall or bed!
It measures 88 inches by 66 inches.
