ALVIN 'DELLA ROBIA' 50 PC. ESTATE STERLING FLATWARE SET

From a local estate, we are pleased to
offer a set of 50, service for 6, Sterling Flatware pieces from the
Alvin Corporation, in the Della Robbia Pattern, 1922. Also included
with this set is a Sterling two piece carving set from the Webster
Company in the WSC19 pattern, discontinued, Circa 1910, and a Sterling
Serving Fork from the Alvin Company in the Mastercraft pattern, 1937.
All all of the pieces except for the Mastercraft fork are monogrammed
with the initial 'N.' Most of the pieces are in Very Good,
lightly used condition. Set comes in rolled up, felt bags. It is
important to us that you know exactly what you are buying, so below is
a breakdown of the number and condition of each type of piece. We
generally overstate any flaws so that you feel comfortable with the
condition of all pieces. The pattern is quite elegant and this set was
well cared for and has been in only one family since the 1920s when it
was bought.
ALVIN, DELLA ROBBIA SET:
6 Table Spoons: Somewhat used condition, bowls have light scratches throughout, otherwise in good original form, no major dings and handles are in good original form. Light tarnish, monogrammed with "N." Table spoons measure 7 3/8 inches long.
11 Teaspoons: Somewhat used condition, bowls have light scratches throughout, otherwise no major dings. When stacked, the handles are not all formed exactly the same, meaning that some of the necks, closest to the bowls have a sharper bend than others, though none are terribly bent. Light tarnish, monogrammed with "N." Teaspoons measure 6 inches long.
6 Demitasse Spoons: Hardly used condition, some light scratching on bowls, no major dings or bends. Some light tarnish, monogrammed with "N." Each spoon measures 4 1/4 inches long.
6 Dinner Forks: Somewhat used condition, light scratching throughout. A few light knife marks on a few of the forks, though no major digs. Tines are well aligned and in original form. When stacked some necks are bent a little sharper than others, though no major bends. Some light tarnish, monogrammed with "N." Each fork measures 7 3/4 inches long.
6 Salad Forks: Lightly used condition, some light scratching throughout. No knife marks on tines. Tines are all aligned and in original form. Overall forks are in Very Good Condition, some light tarnish, monogrammed with "N." Each fork measures 6 1/4 inches long.
6 Knives: Sterling handle, stainless steel blade. Knives are in Very Good, Slightly used condition. All blades are straight, no major dents or scratches on handles. Some light tarnish, monogrammed with "N." Each knife measures 9 3/4 inches long.
6 Butter Spreaders: Lightly used condition, some light scratching throughout. * The tip of one of the spreaders has a ding, making the end slightly flattened, hardly noticeable, still very functional. All blades are straight. Some light tarnish, monogrammed with "N." Each spreader measures 5 3/4 inches long.
1 Pie Server: Very Good, Slightly used condition with very light scratching. "Blade" is straight, NOT monogrammed. Server measures 6 1/2 inches long.
1 Sugar Shell: Somewhat used, Very Good condition with light scratching throughout. In fine original for. Light tarnish, Monogrammed with "N." Shell measures 6 inches long.
1 Soft Cheese Spread: Somewhat used, Good Condition, light scratching throughout, 1/8 inch wide scratch spot on top of spreader. In good original form. NOT monogrammed. Spread measures 5 3/4 inches long.
ALVIN MASTERCRAFT Serving Fork: "Pat. 1937 ALVIN STERLING," labeled on back. Very Good, lightly used condition. Tines are all in great shape and good original form. A beautiful pattern with No monogram. Fork measures 7 1/4 inches long.
2 pc. Webster Sterling Carving Knife & Fork Set, WSC19 Pattern, 1910: Somewhat Used Condition, light scratching and some tiny dents in each Sterling handle. Tines and blade are both in Good Condition; blade is quite sharp, tip has been sharpened down a bit; tines on fork are even and in original form. Light tarnish, both pieces monogrammed with "N."
Fork measures 8 1/2 inches long, knife measures 9 1/2 inches long
