This African American 'Housetop' Patchwork, Circa 1920 is hand pieced and hand quilted. The colors are wonderful and the pattern is Eye Catching and has all the colors and character of a Gees Bend quilt....it did come to us with Africian American provenance, but the original location was unknown. It is in Excellent Condition on the front and general, light surface soiling on the back.
It measures 72 inches by 54 inches.
