1880s 'ROSE OF SHARON COLORFUL APPLIQUE QUILT

This Appliqué is a variation of 'Rose of Sharon,' Circa 1880, found in Pennsylvania, and is hand appliquéd and quilted. It has a gorgeous triple, green, red and yellow border. There are a few light soil spots on back that show through to the front that are visible in bright light, as pictured. The border does have some minor fraying throughout. Otherwise this Appliqué is in Wonderful condition, it smells clean and looks fantastic on the bed or wall. It measures 78 inches by 72 inches.
