This is an unwashed, Flying Geese Quilt, Circa 1890. This is a visual treat as a wall hanging and it is in Wonderful Condition. It is hand pieced and hand quilted in grid design, backed with homespun plaid. There is one area with some spots on it that are hardly noticeable and really wouldn't warrant washing the quilt to clean them. It is a medium weight quilt with many bright colors, pieced together to make a gorgeous, swirling deign. We can't say enough good things about this quilt!
It measures 77 inches by 64 inches.
