This is a set of three (3), Sterling Wallace, 'Kings' pattern carving set, including the fork, knife and sharpener.
We also have a number of auctions this week with similar patterns from different makers, so check them out.
A very fanciful pattern from the Wallace company, in the 'Kings' pattern originally issued in 1903. Each of the three pieces is marked on the underside of the rest with the 'RW & S' mark and a deer head. Also stamped on the underside is 'STERLING HANDLE.' The knife blade is straight, fairly sharp, with a good tip, is in overall good condition and is marked 'STAINLESS.' The fork and the sharpener are both also in good condition. There are NO monograms on these pieces. The 'rest' on all three is made of sterling and on all three is slightly misshapen on the corners. This looks to be an easy fix, but we leave it up to the new owner. Otherwise, the handles are in good condition with only very light scratching; no dents or major nicks, etc.
The fork measures 10 1/2 inches long, the knife measures 14 inches long and the sharpener measures 14 1/2 inches long.
