This is a set of five (5), Sterling Reed & Barton / Dominick and Haff fruit knives in the 'King' pattern, originally issued in 1880. Check out another set of six, also available today in a separate auction.
The knives pictured and described in this auction are the knives the high bidder will receive.

The handle of each fruit knife is marked
with the Reed & Barton / Dominick and Haff hallmark, 'STERLING 13.'
Each handle is monogrammed with the initials 'MG.' Presumably the blades are silver plate, as they are not marked and there is some light tarnish and tarnish nicks as can be seen in the pictures. The handles are in Good condition. One handle has the beginning of a tiny split. Otherwise there are no other splits, mends or major dents. Since these knives were only used occasionally they have only light ware and scratching. Each knife measures 6 1/2 inches long.
