LOVELY ESTATE CLOISONNE LARGE FOOTED COMPOTE BOWL "A"

Continuing today
from our "living estate" in Scottsdale, Arizona, a collection of three
footed cloisonné compote shape bowls. The three are
offered in three different listings, so check "Our Other Auctions" to
see the group. Two of the bowls are identical in size, shape and
pattern, but differ in color, while the third bowl is smaller and
totally different than the pair. The estate representative did
not know the age of the bowls, but they were purchased as old in Los
Angeles many years ago.

Six inch tall, 10 1/8 inch diameter bowl and 5 1/2 inch diameter pedestal bottom, a lovely older cloisonné compote (see notation on age above). Cloisonné is not an area of our expertise, so please look closely at the pictures and ask the questions you may find pertinent. Lots of lovely colors in this bowl, blues, greens, rusty salmon red and mauve pastel. Will call the condition of this bowl as Good; there a 1/4 inch spot in the red of the bowl, as pictured, of enamel loss; there are numerous tiny dark dots on the enamel, light pitting and a one inch run spot on the edge of the underside of the top bowl, as pictured. Also, the compote bowl is slightly bent or tweaked, is certainly presentable as is, but could use a professional fix if so desired. There are no noticable dings, dents or cracks.
