JADE OR SOAP STONE ORIENTAL ELEPHANT CARVING

Guessing this Elephant is carved from soapstone or is it jade, not sure. Very nice detail. Both of the tusks are missing portions. The age of the carving is unknown, as it is part of the Arizona estate and there was no history provided for the oriental pieces, but will guess it to be 19th century. Carving is 3 inches long and 2 1/2 inches tall.
