We're pleased to offer fifteen
excellent early Staffordshire figures
from our Scottsdale, AZ, "living estate". Some of the dogs are
pairs, and we will keep them together, so twelve auctions in
total. Several of the pieces are large, and most are vibrant and
in excellent condition, some rare. Each is described
below. This collection, and others to be offered soon, was
lovingly selected over many years, and each held special sentiment for
the owner. Because of the fragile soft-paste of the
Staffordshire, we cannot combine shipping on the larger pieces.
We will, however, group the smaller figures for some savings.

15 1/2" STAFFORDSHIRE HUNTER WITH GAME AND DOG FIGURE
Marvelous, very large figure of a bearded man standing wearing feather plumed hat, long waistcoat, green print vest, orange tie and sash, boots, dotted trousers and leggings. He holds rabbits in both hands, a brace of birds hang from a stump beside him, a rifle lies in front of him, and his adoring red and white dog sits to his left. Hairline crack on side of coat, minor paint loss on tip of nose. Light crazing, no other visible cracks, chips or repairs. Harding's Staffordshire dog book values this piece at $1000 to $1500.
