STAFFORDSHIRE ROBIN HOOD FIGURE 15 1/4" SPILL VASE We're pleased to offer fifteen
excellent early Staffordshire figures
from our Scottsdale, AZ, "living estate". Some of the dogs are
pairs, and we will keep them together, so twelve auctions in
total. Several of the pieces are large, and most are vibrant and
in excellent condition, some rare. Each is described
below. This collection, and others to be offered soon, was
lovingly selected over many years, and each held special sentiment for
the owner. Because of the fragile soft-paste of the
Staffordshire, we cannot combine shipping on the larger pieces.
We will, however, group the smaller figures for some savings. ~THIS AUCTION~ 15 1/4" STAFFORDSHIRE ROBIN HOOD AND LITTLE JOHN NAMED GROUP FIGURE SPILL VASE "...this figure has always been found in white with little or no colouring, should a coloured version come to light it would be quite valuable." - Harding's "Book One". Spill vase (tree) is bright orange. Little John, standing, holds a painted yellow club in his left hand.. Black and white dog with painted muzzle lies under the seated Robin Hood. Harding's book values the unpainted version at up to $600. Piece is titled in gilt on base with gilded decorative band around base. Excellent condition, no visible crazing, cracks or chips, minor paint loss in black paint. Domestic shipping UPS Ground insured $20. All others please inquire. A word on shipping and the "Detailed Seller Ratings" system.....please note our 100% positive feedback rating with over 4,000 total sales..... We would hope for the highest rating possible on both of the shipping evaluations. As longtime Powersellers, we guarantee our items to be as described, and we will communicate with the buyer the day of sale and when payment is received. Please be generous with your ratings, as we hope to keep our business strong and the quality of our goods top notch! CLICK
