UNUSUAL EARLY HAMMERED COPPER BED WARMER ~PETITE SIZE

Another nice primitive item just in
from our Arizona estate, a good New England hammered copper bed warmer,
of unusual small size. Will date the warmer from mid to early
1800's and in excellent condition. Wood turned handle is of
proper age, style and size, but is obviously a replacement (see
pics). Overall length of warmer, including the handle is
twenty-five inches. The actual size of the copper is 4 1/4 inches
tall and a bottom diameter of 8 1/2 inches. The wooden handle is
appropriately placed in an iron handle which is attached to the warmer
with copper rivets.
