THREE COOL OLD LOBSTER SEAFOOD PORCELAIN SERVING PLATES

Three large, colorful, soft paste
porcelain lobster plates, whimsical and beautiful yet functional!
Each is approx. 14" by 10 1/2" and 4" tall at top of lobster
tail, and has a raised bright red-orange lobster in the middle with
tentacles, legs, claws and eyes. These plates are from our Scottsdale
estate, collected over many years and once used at the Plaza
Hotel. One, marked Made in Germany on the underside, has ornate
gold leaf edge trim with branches, leaves and berries in the bowls, the
lobster resting on raised leaves, as pictured. Another has a
light green edge with delicate multi-colored flowers, leaves and
branches in the bowls. The third also has the lobster resting on
raised leaves with 6 classic gold leaf designs around the bowls, gold
leaf edge trim. Some paint loss, no crazing, chips or
cracks. Probably date from 1915 to 1940.
