This is an original oil on board by listed Canadian artist Kenneth Loveless. It is signed lower right & comes from the estate of the artist. This lovely modernist work is typical of Loveless' unique style. Kenneth Loveless lived just 35 years before he committed suicide. During his life he created some very high quality paintings along the lines of Bertram Brooker and Lowrie Warrener. He studied under Stanley Moyer during the 1940s at the Ontario Colege of Art and was greatly influenced by other leading artists of his day. This is a rare painting by a very accomplished artist that lived a shorter life than Tom Thomson.
