Brass cast plate #18632 dated January 1901 off Colorado Midland engine #202 a 2-8-0. Plate measures 12" diameter with two bolt holes. This original plate still boasts scale build-up on reverse. Possible old varnish but overall appears to be in very acceptable condition. This plate is extremely rare as very few Colorado Midland plates have survived. With the CM lanterns bringing thousands, and only a handful of builders plates surviving, this one would have to be in a class all by itself when it comes to desirability!! Without a doubt one of the stars of this auction.
