D&RG LIMA LOCOMOTIVE BUILDERS PLATE

LIMA LOCO & MACH CO- nickel plated cast iron plate measures 8' diameter. No. 598 dated 1900. This one of a kind offering was originally Copper Belt Railroad Shay engine #1 and later became D&RG Shay engine #1. As far as we are aware this is the only one that has survived. Without a doubt the star of this auction we will be interested in seeing where the dust settles on this one. Extremely rare and a great offering.
