COLORADO & TEXAS RY CONSTRUCTION CO- Receipt dated November 12, 1887 for payment of Capitol Stock issued to and endorsed on the back by D. H. Moffat. This company was organized in 1883 to build the gulf route's section from Pueblo to the Texas-New Mexico line. Great piece in excellent condition and a treasure with David H. Moffats signature on the reverse, just in case you were not aware this was the founder of the Denver Northwestern & Pacific better known as the Moffat Road. A great historic item.
