Box logo on side of hanging oiler. This was used when a journal box wheel bearing ran out of oil and they needed to nurse it to the next station. It was hung by the chains under the car above the troubled wheel. The small valve on the bottom of the oiler could be opened allowing the oil to drip on the dry box so the train could continue on to the next station. This one measures approximately 24" long and stands about 19" high. The tank itself is about 10" diameter. Unique item waiting for a new home.
