D&RGW ALCO SCHENECTADY PLATE
(Item: CAT56/LOT173)

ALCO SCHENECTADY- plate #55984 off D&SL engine #408 a 2-8-2 dated August 1916. Eventually became D&RGW #1228 which was dismantled May 1952. Brass rectangular plate in good condition ready to display. This is the last plate from the incredible collection of John McCaslin. Congratulations to everyone who was able to secure a piece. I know John would be glad to know his collection is being enjoyed by so many who shared his enthusiasm and love of this hobby.
