BRASS TOP LANTERN

BRASS TOP- Bell bottom lantern with chimney bale and single wire guard. Twist off bell. Comes with 4 ½” Handlan Buck Utility cast on top edge of red unmarked globe. Lantern shows some repair to the globe retainer as well as filling a hole in the bottom. Manufactured by CSS & AL Baron patented Oct 18, 1870. Great condition for this early and scarce offering that would be a welcome addition to your collection.
