RIO GRANDE THE PROSPECTOR- 1941 pass given for the Inaugural Trip of the Prospector Monday November 17th 1941. Housed in engraved stainless steel case the top inserted card has embossed Prospector with mule in gold. The bottom insert reads, “Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad Is Honored To Welcome On the Inaugural Trip of The Prospector New, Diesel Power, Stainless Steel Streamlined Train Designed for Overnight Every night Service Between Denver & Salt Lake City”. Not issued but rare to find them filled out. Excellent condition and hard to find. Unique offering.
